What We Collect

When you upload a contract PDF, we extract its text and send it to our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to generate your analysis. We do not require an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, or any other personal information to use Contract Vitals.

How Long We Keep Your Data

We do not retain your contract or its contents. Your PDF is processed in memory to extract text, sent to our AI provider for analysis, and discarded immediately after your results are returned to your browser. We do not store uploaded documents or analysis results on our servers.

Third-Party Services

We use Anthropic's Claude API to perform the contract analysis. Anthropic processes the contract text we send solely to generate a response to that request. Anthropic does not use API data to train its models. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle data submitted via their API.

No Training, No Selling

• We do not use your contract data to train any AI models.
• We do not sell your data to third parties.
• We do not share your contract content with anyone other than our AI provider, solely to generate your analysis.

GDPR (European Users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, our lawful basis for processing your uploaded document is your consent, given by uploading the file and clicking "Analyze My Contract," and our legitimate interest in providing the service you requested. Because we do not retain your data after processing, there is generally nothing to erase by the time your results are returned — but you may contact us at any time with questions about how your data was handled, and we will respond promptly.

CCPA (California Users)

California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected and to request deletion of that information. Because Contract Vitals does not store uploaded contracts or generate persistent personal profiles, there is no retained data tied to you to disclose or delete in most cases. Contact us if you have specific concerns.

We use a small number of essential and analytics cookies to operate the site and understand aggregate usage. You can decline non-essential cookies via the banner shown on your first visit.
